Cast resin transformers

Cast resin transformers by HTT are mechanically and thermally stable against changing loads, short circuits and extreme climatic conditions. They fulfil the requirements of climate class C2, ambient class E2 and fire class F1. Thanks to our different construction series concepts, we have the right solution to meet the individual requirements of all of your application cases.

In addition to the ‘standard’ series for power distribution transformers with vacuum casting for the HV coils und Prepreg insulation for the LV coils, we also have the ‘Modular’ and ‘Individual’ series to supply you with the perfect transformer for your requirements: for instance, higher mechanical strength and resistance to aggressive atmospheres thanks to the vacuum casting of the LV coils. We use aluminium or copper as a conducting material in our transformers depending on the customer requirements and specifications.

Power distribution transformers

  • With losses according to the Ecodesign Directive 2009/125/EC – VO 548/2014 (Level 1 and at the customer’s request according to Level 2, NEW: DIN EN 50588-1)

  • LV coils cast under vacuum or for outputs up to 4 MVA with Prepreg insulation

Regulating transformers

  • With on load tap changer (OLTC) for grid adjustment or to regulate low voltage (primary control)
  • With no load tap changer (NLTC) on LV-side to regulate the low voltage in load-free state

Starting transformers

  • For low and high-voltage motors for reduction of the grid load during the starting process

Testing transformers

  • Up to 120 kV
  • Up to 180 kA eff. short-time operation
  • For one and three-phase high-voltage or high-current test fields

Oil-immersed transformers

We produce high-performance transformers in the range of 3.5 MVA up to 20 MVA for various applications. Depending on the customers’ requirements or specifications, a wide range of insulating oils can be used.

Depending on specifications, our oil-immersed transformers are supplied with a corrugated tank or a radiator tank – hermetically closed or with an expansion tank and the necessary accessories, from Buchholz relay to a thermal image.

Certified quality

None of our components enter the next production stage without being tested first. Reputed external test and certification institutes also audit us at regular intervals. Our transformers can also be supplied with a GOST certificate on request. 

 

We manufacture in line with the requirements of the certificate ISO 9001 and the respective applicable norms (for instance, the Ecodesign Directive 2009/125/EC, (EU)No.548/2014/EC – DIN EN 50588-1). Our cast resins transformers also satisfy the requirements of the fire, climate and ambient classes.
