The history of HTT
High-quality power packages for more than 70 years
Transformer production in Hann. Münden has tradition – transformers and reactors have been produced at our current site since 1949. After the company HTT Hochspannungstechnik und Transformerbau GmbH was created in its current legal form in 1985, it was initially managed by the owner before being transferred to a family trust 22 years later to ensure the continuity of the company.
Continuous growth and consistent investment in a state-of-the-art machine pool and staff training made HTT a high-performance and competitive company.
Paying attention to detail, 70 specialists produce high-quality cast resin and oil-immersed transformers for the national and international market. The HTT Hochspannungstechnik und Transformerbau GmbH started supplying cast resin and oil-immersed transformers to national and international customers in 1985. Reputed customers from across the globe rely on our combined package of commitment, quality, flexibility and speed Made in Germany.
Hann. Münden
The plant of our medium-sized company is located in the centre of Germany surrounded by the picturesque woods of the beautiful Weserbergland region. More than 700 half-timber buildings from the past 600 years dominate the cityscape of Hann. Münden and attract numerous visitors every year. Bedded between the three rivers Werra, Fulda and Weser and not far from the German Fairytale Route and the German Half-Timber Route, Hann. Münden is known for its historical alleys and idyllic market squares. This is why it is definitely worthwhile combining a visit to our production plant with a visit to this popular half-timber, three-river town – Alexander von Humboldt called it one of the seven most beautifully located towns.
