HTT Publishes Technical Article on Transformer Digital Twins in the Transformers Magazine Special Edition “Digitalization 2023”

Transformer Digital Twins in Focus

In his article, the head of our engineering department describes how Transformer Digital Twins can help address current and future challenges in the industry. He explains the benefits and development process of Digital Twins and emphasizes the central role of modern Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools – particularly FEM-based multiphysics simulations.
A key focus of the article is DryTrafo, our own Transformer Digital Twin application for cast resin transformers. Using a three-phase rectifier transformer (2000 kVA, 10,500/720 V), the article clearly illustrates the creation, working principle, and performance of the twin simulations.
