Technical progress in the area of power transformers and digital twins.

The further development of energy systems requires intensive international knowledge sharing. With the goal of overcoming existing and future challenges, HTT is actively involved in the globally recognised working groups set up by the world’s leading knowledge development programme.

Power transformers: HTT on CIGRE Study Committee A2

HTT is proud of bringing its extensive expertise in the area of power transformers and reactors to the CIGRE Study Committee A2. The committee deals with all phases of the asset management lifecycle – from conception, research and design to production and commissioning.

Digital transformer twins: HTT on CIGRE Study Committee A2/D2.65

Another important working group is the CIGRE WG A2/D2.65. The group focuses on the concept and the future prospects of digital transformer twins. As one of the leading experts, HTT identifies processes in the transformer life cycle that can particularly benefit from the concept of the digital twin.

In the last 100 years, CIGRE’s work has become an important technical cornerstone of the modern energy system. HTT is proud of being part of this renowned international community and of contributing to the exchange of knowledge for the further development and optimisation of energy systems.

Involvement in the various CIGRE working groups, especially through innovative concepts for power transformers or digital transformer twins, underlines HTT’s commitment to innovation and progress in the energy sector.
